They deliberately give you the worst experience possible and waste your time and try to get your credit card to park JUST to get an immediate SS card replacement for a gainfully employed tax paying Dauphin County resident. I tried to call but obviously they leave you on hold for hours, but I walk into the building and see 3 "guards" sitting down doing nothing, literally staring out into space. Dauphin county is insanely corrupt.

Was on hold for about 2 hours and then the call "dropped" this happened 2 times.. who has that amount of time to be wasted just to go through the very long and drawn out phone tree this place is horrible, customer service skills are needed for the representatives as well cause when you finally get a chance to talk to them they are rude and you can tell they don't care.

No, because everything is for appointments. You have to go through the office and ask the officer at the door for an application for a replacement. He will tell you that you have to call, but to pick up a piece of paper.

You're always sent a letter in the mail informing you of benefit changes, and most times the letter is sent in advance before the changes happen. When you do get these kinds of letters and you don't know why the changes happened, I would encourage you call the local SSA office.

There are rare exceptions but the examples you have mentioned would not prevent you from requesting a replacement social security card.
I am going to be 65 and will have 25 yrs of services on 10/21/2023. I am planning to retire in February, 2023. My husband is already getting social security for last 5 yrs. Can I get a portion of his SS amount until I withdraw mine at age 65?

If your married or have been to someone that has worked for 10 years you would get about half of there benefit at full retirement age. If your single and never was married for at least 10 years you wouldn't be eligible for any benefits.
