I went to Sherwin Williams because I needed expert advice on color selection. I’d been to the local big box store and bought a couple handfuls of samples (5$/per) in my quest for the perfect beige, pink and blue for my large, whole house paint job. Two employees were working and I was the only customer. I brought in my top two samples to explain “close but” with the hope an expert could pin point a better choice. Nope. I was given a handful of paper color swatches, two eye rolls, the statement “we don’t have samples” and “no, we don’t have the base to make a quart” when I said I’d go that route for sample. In leaving, the employee suggested I go to the online site.
