A small conservation area (46 acres) primarily wetlands. Small parking area just off the county road. Lots of wildlife.

So we have a blow up boat. Decided to try it for the first time here. Bad idea. It was actually really funny. So I'm not sure who said fishing was good but you could prolly walk through the whole entire water area. It was about 1-3 feet deep the whole time and moss and what-nots to lose your lure on everywhere. I mean, I'm definitely not a professional when it comes to fishing but I common sense told me don't try so we didn't.

Are there fish? Can we fish?

Im not sure. Its more of a swamp/type area. Too easy to snag on a lillypad, I'd think. There are other areas to fish at around the Bottoms. Its called the Amarugia Lake, at the Amarugia Highlands. Its not too far away from the Bottoms, either. Maybe about 8-10 min. Google will give you directions. I think you might like it.

Is bow hunting allowed?

I do not believe it is, but I'm not positive on that either. It is mostly a swamp/type conservation area, with a single walkway leading back to the lily pads. The Missouri Conservation might be able to give you a heads up on if, and where it is allowed down around that area, though.
