Rude people! Not sure why we need the original divorce decree, when already married and proved divorce when we got the marriage license? Pretty sure the government already knows this info, since they seem to know everything about everyone anyway 🤷♂️

Mrs. Boyer was by far the best person I have ever spoken with when calling or visiting the St. Peter’s office. She was informative, friendly, and very professional! She made me feel like my son is going to get the help he has needed for a long time. Thank you again!

Super fast and friendly staff!

Lies, rudeness and a complete waste of over a hour. After being told what to bring I was treated rudely and unprofessional. Amazing this is how people are treated

Sound easy, right? It's not. You go through several recorded prompts, then a message says, "Your call cannot be completed at this time." Click. They hang up.
How do I make an appointment at office in St. Peters, Mo.
Yes
I don't know where to start and I am being told if I wait too long I may be penalized. I will be 65 in Dec. of this year and I need to know what I need to do now and what I can wait until later to do on Medicare and SS benifits.
I am getting divorce what is max income i am allowed
The 800 number goes to the St. Peters office.
Yes, it is recommende
I know if you're disabled, you should just need your checking account information along with a few proofs of identity. Examples: check card, routing number, piece of mail with current address, photo ID and social security card.
Ya I hear ya. I got a wait time if 55 mins just to try to make an appointment for help with retirement
Yes (at the St. Peters location.) Drop box is only available on Friday from 12 pm to 2 pm; otherwise, it best to get your information asap and mail it with the representative's name (who you spoke with) included on the address line. Also, check and check with the drop box time as it may have changed.
I was there last week and they were open by appointment only.
Go on ssa.gov and apply for a new one.
I don't think there's an email. There may be online chat.
I'm a licensed Medicare agent who tried to visit the office the other day to get the Medicare and you book to help seniors with their Medicare plans and options. While I was there no one was at the office. When you call the number on the door you reach someone at their home. If you need help with signing up for Medicare or getting your medicare award letter I can help. Pleas ereach out to me and let's get your issue resolved if I can.
I'm not sure if you can. Check it out and see if there is a link. I doubt it though
They do not have a direct line to speak with someone. They only have a 1800 number. You have to go there in person to get your questions answered. Whatever you need make sure you come with it .
Unfortunately no you'll need to go in to get that
I dont know about path forward but survivor is usually in reference to when a parent or spouse passed away and you file for survivors benefits.
Or you can go in there and possibly sit over an hour or 10 min depending how busy. Don't forget Identification. You can report it right there.
Call the local social secruity office immediately and update, tell them of ypur appointment and time of interview. Get it corrected asap
Apply for a new one online at MySocialSecurity.gov.. or, phone them and request a replacement to be mailed to you, or.. apply in the local social security office. If you need it for something right away, apply at the office and ask for legitimate verification/proof of your request for replacement, that can be used as a temporary ID card, until you receive your replacement. They can give you documentation on letterhead with your name and social security number, that can be used for DMV and jobs, etc..
I believe that you can.
Im still trying to figure what the hell im doing.!!
Should be able to find number, from information. I dont know about a local number. If you live in st peters, you can just go by there. If you get there about 30 to 45 minutes, before they open at 9:00 am you can be first in line, and you dont need an appointment.
Yes you can.
It's best and advised to have appt
What $37. I went the ss office in st peters, it came in the mail in less than a week.
You can just walk in. You may wait a little bit longer without an appt.
I went there on a Wednesday at around 10:30 am and waited for 30 minutes. They close at noon on Wednesdays. I went there on a Thursday at 9:30 am and waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Best time would probably be around lunch.
Yes. Phone appointments are easiest.
