I was in and out in 10-15 minutes (I did go around an "off time") so the wait may be longer at other times, but the front security guard who greeted me as well as the employee who processed my change of name request we're courteous and helpful. I did make sure to have all my documents and read through the information on the website before going so I would also recommend doing that as well.

I visited Fenton after leaving the Watson location after seeing customers being treated terribly by staff. Security and Clerk working today 8/3 thank you for being SO kind and for having patience with everyone. I made sure to thank there, but if you are in management for the Fenton location, please recognize your awesome staff. ❤️

Name change process was super easy. The Federal Officer manning the front desk is very friendly. The folks working the front desk made it super easy for us. So a big thanks to everyone working there. Plenty of parking and not too long of a wait.

Do I need an appointment at the Fenton, Mo. SSA Office?
Can I make a appointment with SSI office
No but your wait time will be considerably shorter if you have an appointment.
What do I need to get as card
Do need apointment
Yes
I believe SGA is $1170/mo in 2018 (Gross pay NOT net pay), but double check that. Be careful, they calculate by average of 173.3 hours in a month, so the 2 months each year that you get 3 checks (assuming bi-weekly pay) will make you lose benefits. DO NOT get PAID more than SGA in any one month. Their definition of "earning" is your definition of "paid". There is a 3 year trial work period where they will reinstate your benefits. As well, if this will be the first time you've worked since benefits started, you can make as much as you want for the first 9 months. That's the short version; I suggest researching this.
I need a new replacement of my info so i can file my taxes How do I go about obtaining a new paper of earnings?
The grammar is atrocious. This looks as if an 8 year old wrote these questions. Where does one actually go for assistance? And will it be a knowledgeable person doing the assisting? Sigh...this should not be so difficult.
No theres not a direct line you will probably have to go up there
Yes. Cannot make appt either
Thanks but I already have it
Yes you do, with the pandemic situation going on
There is no other way to get a Social Security card if you can't get access to your SSA account you have to call and make an appointment and go there in person that's ridiculous
Yes. However that can be done on their website as well.
I'm not sure but I doubt it. I found out it's not open to the public any way. You need an appt...and if you're trying to drop off a form--don't bother...you have to mail it in.
They only do appointments for "emergencies". Very annoying because otherwise you have to mail very personal information to them.
Yes but you still have to get a number to turn it into the office.
They will mail you one in 5-10 days.
Generally it depends on how you were disabled if you were disabled through a workman's comp claim that would go back to whoever is handling your workman's comp. Otherwise you need to do research probably the first thing I would do is retain legal counsel.
Call Social Security toll free number give them the information as requested by the representative and they will mail you a card in the mail it can take a few weeks
Just call the social security office that you will be going to and ask for appointment. The waiting time is less because they will be expecting you. So if you get ther 15 minutes before your time you should be called within 10 min
Yes. You can call or go online to set it up.
Not sure, if you call the office they will be able to help you out more.
Yes
You can make an appointment by calling the 800 number but we went on a Tuesday morning and got there at 9 and we were out of there by 9:45. It's the slowest day
Early in the morning at 9 am. Or later in the afternoon around 2:30-3:30 pm. Call on Tuesdays or Thursdays on the 2nd or 3rd week of the month. It's best just to go up 8:15 am in the morning so your first in line n by the way, they close early on Wednesdays at 3 pm. I hope this helps you. As you know Social Security is hard to contact but the best thing to do is go up early in the morning although you will wait til 9am before they open their doors.
It should not have everybody I asked received theirs
No but it will help the wait can be long
Not necessarily. Walk ins are okay but you may have as long wait
NOT SURE! NOT SIGNED UP YET!!
9am to noon. All other days except Sat and Sunday (which they are closed) are 9 am to 4pm
Marriage Certificate and your drivers license with your married name on it.

Not a scam. I got one last year
Try health dept

No
Need to know your work history & names & addresses if anyone that's treating you. Can't just walk in and file. Need to file online or make appointment. There isn't temporary disability.
How do I talk to a human person. I have questions.
