Costco uses nitrogen, not regular air. Nitrogen is larger (and therefore denser) than just air molecules - and so your tires will need pressure adjustments less often. Planes, tractor trailers, emergency vehicles use nitrogen for decades. Some reg tire stores, dealers, and repair shops also now use nitrogen. Unless your tires are at ambient temperature (no more than 80 degrees), I would add 5 psi to what is suggested for your car - as your tires will get warm/hot from your home to Costco, AND MORESO in very warm weather. THEN when you're home, 10 or 11pm or 6 or 7am, tires are at ambient temp and less than 80 deg, check them again to the pressure you want or specification sticker. Check tires when the Costco tire/battery shop is open (not the same hours as the store), BUT I would not go check 30 mins before closing- Google that location's hours. The tire tech does it- and check the spare! It leaks too. Go to the first bay during shop hours, not store hours.
