I was not happy with my experience at Rocky Mountain Urgent Care. I am a nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital and had been dealing with a 6-8/10 shooting pain that originated in the right side of my neck and traveled to my right hand. I had been experiencing this pain for 2 weeks prior to going to the urgent care and tried every therapy I could think of during those 2 weeks (chiropractor, massage, dry needling, acupuncture, cupping, etc.). Dr. Zhang quickly did an assessment, was very rushed with her questions, and concluded that I have a muscle spasm in my neck and prescribed a muscle relaxer. This was very frustrating to me because it clearly was not a muscle spasm since I had tried several therapies to eliminate the pain prior to seeing her and none of them resolved the "muscle spasm." I told her I was leaving for Europe in a few days and my PCP was not available for several weeks. Two days later the pain intensified after having to work 2 shifts at the hospital, so I decided to go to a different urgent care (Zipline). The doctor at Zipline performed a thorough assessment and actually listened to what I was telling him about my pain and the therapies I had tried to alleviate the pain. Immediately he referred me to SpineOne to receive an MRI and the MRI revealed I have a herniated disc in my neck. I was then able to receive an epidural corticosteroid injection the day I left for Europe and that reduced my pain by 50%. I am writing this review because I do not appreciate doctors that rush through assessments and don't actually listen to their patients. My treatment plan was delayed because Dr. Zhang resorted to a medication that masked the problem rather than trying to find the root of the problem and eliminate it. I am very appreciative of the Doctor from Zipline because my pain is managed and I am being appropriately treated.

I went in for asthma, wheezing, and coughing. They did a Rapid COVID Test on me and I was tested positive. Thank God I went in. I thought I was having exacerbation as usual. Also I was seen very quickly and treated right away. The staff was very friendly too. I would go back again. If I need to. And it's very close to my home.

Not telling the whole story though are you Tiffers?
You do that Pricie, but I'm guessing you weren't all that urgent or you'd be in the ER. And this is what peeves you.
Goodwill has an outlet store adjacent to the Urgent Care/Family practice office. If you go into Goodwill, wear gloves!
I had a pretty decent experience today, I had to wait for a bit , they were very kind to me.
Took me 4 days
Yes
Depends on what result u need
Yes they do
Yes, we do accept medicaid. You can make an appointment with one of our family doctors or you can visit our urgent care side without an appointment. I suggest you visit our website, www.rockymountainurgentcare.com and click on "Book Urgent Online". This puts you in the queue without having to physically be at the clinic. We send you a text and tell you what time to arrive. It's very convenient and saves you time.

Rocky Mountain Urgent Care is like an ER, of course you can go get stitches out. How much? With my insurance it is $50. Would have to call to see
I believe so, but they do require payment before they'll see you. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask first.
