Stopped here by accident and boy was it fantastic. We had an amazing breakfast. This is worth the drive from anywhere!!!

The Villager Restaurant was a nice spot. We went there looking for a nice Mexican dinner, and that was exactly what we got. Skipping an appetizer we were brought chips and drinks. (Coca-Cola) after that we had time to dwell on what to order in the relatively uncrowded facility. We settled finally on an order of quesadillas and tacos! Both were to our liking.

I've been stopping here for thirty years on rides up through this section of Connecticut. Somewhere in the last 10 years ownership seems to have changed. And for the better. Food and service are excellent. My personal favorite are the fish tacos. I would strongly recommend The Villager for lunch if you're passing through Kent.

Mexicanized menu in a setting with vintage posters in frames. Al fresco seating or in cozy interior. Bathroom narrow. No wi-fi. Friendly waitstaff a d fair prices. Coffee served in to-go cups, though large (12 oz?).
