I came in for a TB test and was actually surprised by the lack of good customer service considering the reviews. We first approached the desk and was not greeted at all, the girl at the desk, Terra, looked at my wife and I then turned away to talk about a story with the other employee. When asking for the TB test she simply said that the only way I could do that was to make sure I’m there Saturday 11-2 to have it read. So I paid and had the test done, the girl who administered it was friendly enough. Just really no warmth or even a hello. THEN I went to have it read at the south location but the internet was down and she simply said she couldn’t give me a result. Luckily my wife asked some more questions and found out that we can drive all the way north to have it read. So we did and the girl who did the test was there and this time wasn’t nice at all. Both times I just felt I was interrupting them. I got the test, thank goodness, but this was my first and probably last visit here.

Hats off to Analisa. My experience at the north Academy lab was great. She's so friendly she makes getting blood drawn a fun experience. Also she was so helpful answering questions about reading previous blood test results. She's very skilled at drawing blood....I seriously never even felt the needle. Thanks for great service~ Russ~

No, we do not require an appointment. We do recommend one that way we can get you in and out more quickly, but it is not required.
We do not process insurance, we are a cash pay facility. However, if you are in need of testing for going back to work or travel, a lot of time insurance companies are not required to pay for the testing. We are a fantastic option for those who are needing results quickly for that purpose. If you choose to pay out of pocket, our PCR test typically get back within 24-48 hours once it gets to the laboratory. If you are experiencing symptoms there are many places in town you can go to that offers free COVID testing. The El Paso County Health Department website lists all of those facilities.
You sure can! We offer both the PPD skin test as well as the T-Spot blood screen! We don't require an appointment, however we highly recommend one so we can get you in and out more quickly!
