This is a working farm within the city limits of Albany. It is a birding hot spot, there are lovely trails, a dog park, and community gardens. In the winter it is a nice spot for cross country skiing. A lovely spot.

Beautiful area and peaceful!! Be careful for ticks. We were their once and our dog got a tick when we went near the water where you park your car. We were able to remove the tick in the car. This was 2 days ago.

Was looking for a place to take a hike while waiting for my wife's surgery at Albany Med and this looked close and nice. the trails are NOT marked. the locals might know where to go but I ended up walking a lot on a stone road through the farm. the trail, once I found it, was very muddy. from the map at the parking lot I knew I would be near a golf course , but you actually walk the paved course road for part of the hike. I'm sure the City of Albany community garden is beautiful when it's in full bloom. I would not hike this again.

Always a great hike, finally got to take my dog out for the very first time, fellow hikers and dog owners here have such an amazing community.
