This State park is such a great place to go too and take in the sights. The hiking trails are kept up well and not crowded at all. The camping here is great and clean. What this place has to offer is a great time to spend with your family and friends out in the wild but calm atmosphere. It's nice too see the wildlife and walk or hike the trails.

Come here all the time. A lot to explore. Rented the Tentrr for a night last year for my anniversary and it was lovely. ❤️

Some paved along with dirt rd. If a big park.
There is fishing at Pettibone lake.
Rode less than a month ago at Pontiac State Rec. Its only a few minutes north east of Highland Rec.
They have two small wooden piers set up for fishing and bird watching near the beach area on Pontiac Lake.
$9.00 for the day for out of state vehicles. $16.00 for the year for michigan vehicles. No day pass available for Michigan registered vehicles.
