I would give no stars if possible simply because They allow grown men, more specifically Jason Como, to get into your face and treat you like trash with witnesss around too! If it were my loved one I wouldn’t want them left with a “director” who allows one of her department heads to be malicious towards others for no valid reason. Aggressive people shouldn’t be in a health care setting, regardless if it’s “maintenance” or anything. If it happened “once” it’s most likely to happen again. Other than that it would be a decent place for your loved one :) Edit*** I take that last part back, after a phone call with BILL from vista springs corporate I would keep driving. For 5,000.00 + you’d think they would have funds or literally a set of keys to replace your loved ones carpets instead of letting them stay in a room with a smell from an incident, pic below. Any future employee beware and wear a body cam or they’ll spin it on you then try to deny responsibility for whatever happens! Since I don’t work there any more nothing I mention is “relevant” they claim so if that’s so there won’t be any issue.

Vista Springs is very accommodating and they have a wonderful carrying staff. The woman that run the staff go out of their way to make sure your family members are well taken care of.

Welcoming, beautiful and comfortable. It’s not too large and overwhelming. Staff is friendly and they did the best they could do during the pandemic to keep the residents engaged. Vista is a newer facility and they seem to adjust to the needs of the residents as they continue to grow.

How Do You Foster a Sense of Community?

Community is everything for our community members, families, employees, and local business partners. My main role as the Brand Ambassador is to facilitate community. I host monthly in-person community events open to the families and public. The events offer food entertainment and a chance to meet others within the community. I also post to our Facebook daily showing insight into our day to activities. We also have a newsletter and messaging sent via Caremerge. There is also our community Ambassador Bill who lives at Vista Springs and acts as the voice for all the community members.

4. Do You Have Staff On-Site 24/7?

Yes, we have separate dedicated care staff for our rediscovery care and assisted living. During the day Shift, we have a registered nurse, her assistant, activity staff, a concierge, our residential team, and all our management. Additionally, we have shift managers in the evening and night plus a concierge and life engagement assistants throughout the evening. The state minimum is 15-1 on the assisted living at any given time and 10-1 on Rediscovery, yet we are better staffed than that at all times.

What Type of Activities Are Available?

There is activity programming scheduled every day of the week. We have live performers come in bi-weekly and we have outings to parks, concerts, theaters, light shows, and more! Day-to activities include exercise, happy hour, crafts, cards, walking club, mini golf, and so many other fun activities.
