Jessica did our house inspection and I have no doubt she is among the best in the field. I have never left a review on Google map but I have to take time writing this one. Her inspection helped us tremendously and uncovered several major issues with the house which we would have never expected. Well, whether you find major issues also depends on the house you are inspecting. But in our case, even before we encounter those issues, Jessica was extremely detailed and thorough from the very beginning. She goes above and beyond to assess difficult to reach sections of the house, and when things get really difficult, she has her drones in the air and RC cameras underneath. She is very kind, very honest, always sharing what she finds, what she is concerned, why such things happen, what is the solution. There are tiny details she notices which may not make or break the deal but will need your attention after you move in, and one may never notice such things if you don't have sufficient expertise (such as the owner's work on fixing the leak, good/bad choices on connecting the PVC tubes, choices of shut-off valves, flaws with how the deck is attached). I was fully impressed by all of this. She constantly welcomes your questions and explains in great details suitable to my knowledge level (which is really poor, being a 1st time home buyer). She is also very mindful not to overwhelm us with too much information and reassures us that everything will be summarized in the report, and that she will leave tags for all the valves, switches, size of humidifier/furnish filters, reminders on how frequent to them. She also included a great cheatsheet of many things we should do at different times of the year to proper maintain the house. She does her great work very consistently from the beginning to end. About half into the inspection, my attention started to drop, my wife started to rest on the chair, she was still going at the same pace and same detail, until we hit some major discoveries at the end which gave us complete new insight into the real condition of the house. If we have to do another inspection, we will WAIT until Jessica has a spot for us.

Yes! Technihouse does have a drone for inspecting roofs that would be unsafe for us to walk on or have areas that may not be easily visible. Our drone can take video and photos of your roof, so we can still provide you with up close images and an inspection of your roof at no additional charge. Please let us know when scheduling your appointment if your roof might require the use of our drone.
Since every house is different and factors like age, size, and condition all come into play, this can vary. We generally advise our clients to allow 2-4 hours for the inspection.
Absolutely! We encourage our clients to contact us by email or phone if they have any questions regarding their home inspections or any home maintenance questions in general. We love what we do and we are happy to offer advice to our clients even years after their inspection.
Yes we do environmental testing. We offer radon testing, mold testing and mold inspections as well as water testing. If your home is on a well we can do bacterial testing of your water and we can also test for lead in your home's water. We offer these services as an add on to your home inspection or as a stand alone service for your current home.
We always recommend that our clients, the buyers, be present for the inspection. We don't just present you with an itemized report noting age and condition of items in the home. We teach you about your new home, how to maintain it, easy DIY repairs for items we are finding and we answer your questions throughout. We see the inspection process as a huge learning opportunity for the buyers. This education is especially important for first time home buyers!
You will receive your full home inspection report the day of the inspection, often within a few hours of your inspection.
