IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE DO NOT MOVE THEM IN HERE. DO NOT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS!!!! Horrible company. Management is scrambling. They can not keep a nurse or an executive director on staff. There are a few wonderful employees but they simply do not make up for the horrible environment here. Twy will lie through their teeth to get you in the building. Meals are horrible. My family had to wait 45 minutes at a table! They are always short staffed. I have heard the caregivers complain in the hallways. Extremely unprofessional! They lost my mother's laundry multiple times. I have visited her and smelled urine in her room! Moving her out was the best thing for my family. Please please please do not send a family member here. There are much nicer buildings at a lower cost for your family in the northville area. Avoid this company altogether.

My mother (Mary Ann "Marie" Varga) lived at Brookdale, Northville for six years. She passed away this Thanksgiving. My brother and I have not received any form of official condolences from Brookdale. Two days after she passed the assistant director did not even know she had died. When we closed our joint account at our credit union I received a letter of condolence, in the mail, within a week. Different forms of corporate caring I guess.

This place came highly recommend. My mom has been here for 7 months. Yes, the staff is nice. There's a few that are the sweetest. But overall, this place is failing as a professional place for the elderly. They have lost clothes of my mom's. I find others people's clothes mixed in with hers, As for their meals, they are taken down to the dining area at a certain time, and then are made to wait for 30-45 minutes for their meal.
