I have been coming to Lorraine’s shop since forever, she’s now more than my beautician but a friend and never lets me down. I have gone from permed to natural to permed and back natural again and Lorraine has gotten me through it all. She is bomb with the color and with a silk press among other things. My whole family has been referred and some friends. If your looking for a dope spot in Brooklyn to get your hair done look no further your HOME!!

Lorraine was extremely rude to me. It was so uncalled for, unnecessary and I’ll never go back. She made some very presumptuous and rude comments and the whole experience was strange because of it. I was friendly and nice but something about my instinct told me ‘not to trust her she gives me bad vibes’. My instincts as always were right. I sat quietly from then on as she did my hair for her to continue to judge me and make rude comments about my character, personality, age and weight. All of which were assumptions she was making on the spot (because she does not know me). It’s sad because she did a good job with my hair but that’s enough for me to never go back after such terrible customer service. She made me feel uncomfortable. And it’s interesting because I remember years ago seeing a review stating that she did their hair well but spoke badly about other clients in front of her and would not go back because of that. I always took note of that and moved cautiously (but politely) but now I can see firsthand how poor Lorraine’s character is.
