Showed the lady a picture of a style I wanted for my daughter she gave me a price (which was over priced af) not even half way through I realized she’s not doing it the way the picture is (not ev close) I said something she said she’ll fix it, now half way through it’s still not looking how it’s supposed to they agreed to lower the price ( a price wasn’t given) now she’s done PLAYING IN MY KID HEAD I hand her the amount I thought was fair being that she did NOTHING I asked, the other lady jumps in telling me it’s $10 less than the original price. Now their arguing with me so I show a customer the picture then my child’s hair she said it looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like it’s supposed to.

I had knotless braids done. First off they use tooo much jam/gel on the scalp. I was very vocal about how I wanted the hair to be because of past disappointments. As soon as I try to express myself, the owner shuts it down and is very patronizing and condescending, as if she knows exactly what you want. As soon as I finished the hair, I told her that she did not do it as I wanted.. she then proceeded to tell me that I should’ve said something earlier when I had spoken up twice and even before I got my hair done exactly how I wanted it. When I first spoke up, she shut it down and said to give her a chance to complete it, and I’ll see how nice it is. The owner was very condescending and rude when I told her that that wasn’t exactly what I expressed to her and continued her conversation on the side. I wish I had listened to the reviews before I went. The business owner is very condescending and rude. There are many African salons in the area; please save your time. If you decide to go there, be sure to interrupt her every second, even when she is sure that she knows what she’s doing, because she clearly doesn’t. Customer service is nonexistent, and the owner's attitude will be the reason she doesn't have return clients.
