I were debating if I should write this review giving I don’t believe in fighting bad with bad but it’s needed. I wouldn’t recommend this braiding shop. My mother wanted to get me & my auntie (that has cerebral palsy FYI in a wheelchair which were very difficult for us) hair braided. She called over the phone before arriving, the owner stated that no one were there and TWO people were on there way back to the shop. We waited a good 15/20 minutes. My mom talked to one braider as she arrived she stated $250 each for large knot less braids. Which is outrageous! My mother said it were too much and the lady went down to $150 each. Especially because she just drove back to the shop. My mother dropped us off. I asked the braider how long until the other worker will arrive there she said she were on her way now mind you it’s been 20 minutes. As I’m waiting and she didn’t even start on my aunts hair & she told me the least we’ll have to pay is $160 each. After the fact of telling my mother and agreeing on $150 each! $300. Like is $20 really that serious?!? Also why wait until the payer/the person you already agreed on a price with leave to state this? To her daughter at that. A younger individual. The other braider never arrived smh. The braider immediately wanted to negotiate about the price, go back to the price she originally stated with my mother and felt called out. I refused! We decided it were best to leave and it was a bad decision to even get our hair braided. Waste of time and energy. Non professional. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Bathroom is disgusting. Toilet wouldn’t flush all the way. She didn’t even have a variety of hair to choose from stated they only had 1b hair color. Not coming here again! Advise others not to even look this direction for quality service.
