I didn’t go inside this place but I sat on the steps. It ensued much peace and patience in me especially while enjoying the art work on the outside of building. The neighborhood is cute too. Lots to enjoy here

Neighborhood festivals here in Chicago are about as common as vegetables on hotdogs and 2 inch deep pizzas. But there was nothing at all common about this year's Ukrainian Village Fest. Not only did it come after after a 2 year hiatus because of Covid-19 but also because of the war raging back home. So the songs, dances, clothing, and food took on an extra poignancy for this "Friend of Ukraine". Слава Україні! Героям слава!
