Service in all areas upscale feel, other establishments in Hyde Park should take note on the importance of customer service. Cuisine is to the pallette tantalizing. A must when in Hyde Park, better yet in Chicago. However, take note reservations a must and about at least one week out.

They delivered in the promise, Elevated Southern Cuisine. Every dish I ate was well balanced, excellent flavor profile, and well thought out. We had chicken liver toast, fried green tomatoes, short ribs, catfish, cornbread, mac-n-cheese, gumbo, and last but best…apple cheesecake( an absolute must order ). I’m still trying to figure how they came up with that dish. I’m a Georgia Peach, born and raised. I’m typically not impressed with southern food but…😁. The final seal came from my parents, who typically NEVER like a fine dining place I take them too.(My mom is an amazing southern cook and compares everyone’s food to hers 😏, which is amazing. She was not feeling when I said I like the collards at Virtue as much as I like hers 😅) They are still talking about the food, 🤣! The service was good as well. Oh I also had a cocktail-Peach Fizz, I think. It was well-balanced as well.
