Always loved coming here to see their selection of birds (and all the animals, honestly) since I was 8 and bought our first hand fed bird here. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

The owner of the store was rude. He was less than eloquent and unnecessarily sarcastic. He doesn't like to be asked questions. I started by asking and mentioning how much the going price is for a ferret because I saw them for sale at a pet store for $50 in 2008, he defensively and sarcastically said that was 20 years ago. I was trying to understand why he got an attitude because I genuinely was just asking and wanted to learn why the price went up so much in only 12 years. I asked him where does he get them and he arrogantly said he's not going to tell me. I couldn't understand that because he also said he got them from marshall breeders when I asked him just a few minutes earlier. I let him know that I just like to learn about everything from what part of the world the animals come from to how large is the place they are raised. Etc. By this time I decided to make a sarcastic humorous comment and said "so it's Top-Secret." He said no but he can't tell me. So I said so it's Top-Secret again. He said well I guess. I asked him if ferrets can eat cat food and he said, no, unless you want them to die early. His rude sense of humor or mean less than eloquent behavior is not how a normal person who actually cares about animals with a proper educated vocabulary speaks. I did some research and found that yes, ferrets can eat cat food. I also googled marshall breeders and found they are located in north rose, NY. Why would he not want to "SHARE" where the animals are raised?

Nice staff, nice variety. Better than big chains slightly, but pretty cramped and the rabbits sometimes look sad.

Yes we do
They might. Call the store to make sure.
Yes we do. We have all different colors in stock this week. They go fast. Please call the store for any other information and pricing.
Yes. $8000.00
They have many. Parrots, finches, macaws, greys. Depends on sales honestly. I get my pets there.
The opossum was not in the store the last time I just went in.. they did get some new pets in but I forgot since I was there just for my bird. I love it there just to see the birdies O purchased my first Quaker from Ken and I couldn't be more happy with the baby I got..
No, we do not sell ducks.
Yes we carry axolotls
I've bought a snake and feeder rats from here. When I purchased the snake no information was needed. Just that lovely payment method 😀
How much are your ferrets? Do you have any available now?
I believe so
As a matter of fact I seen a possum .But yes I think they can get you one..
No, no cats or dogs for sale.
They were $130 when I was there.
I was there yesterday. I don't think they were babies. They looked medium size. But who knows. It all depends when you go what they have in stock.
We saw a couple different ones when we were there last week. Definitely go in and check them out
I am not knowledgable enough of the store in details. But other Derrick suggestion is always correct call first prior to going
You walk in and thier is animals everywhere.
They do not see these questions you have to call them
Not sure, try Long John silvers.
The Animal Store is no longer selling Fire-bellied Meets at this time. a fungal infection known as Bat each ich yttrium DA lam and rigor and has infiltrated the supply chain.
Yes they do
Yes they do
Iam not a dog sir... or interestested in whatever "it" is you are offering.... if you want a real dog, even the animal store cannot help you, they breed a certain atmosphere, keep animals overnight, and are against keepong dogs in that atmoshphere overnight.
I suggest calling the store directly to check on prices of the animals.
I been shopping with them for a long time (years) iam an animal guy and I can tell you I been in every animal store around and they are not the cheapest but they treat their animal's right and they are all in good condition and to me that's the most important I have never had a sick animal from that store
Blue tongue skinks, frilled, chameleons, beardies, iguanas just to name a few.
You can call the store
Yes they are nervous and they are now in a new environment. He will eat when he is comfortable and ready.
You can call the store and ask
Hi! Our prices depend on type of canary and change according to special deals we offer. Stop in to see our selection and ask any questions you have. Thank you!
You need to call and see when they will. They used to have waiting lists.
I believe they were somewhere between 74 and 125
Yes they do but you need to call and check something they get bought up and they don't get any more for a few weeks.
I don't think anyone does that
Very small location. No, did not see any cats on visit either. Not enough floor space and the noise would upset birds, rodents, and just about everyone else.
They have alot of different hamsters all the time. I would definitely call and ask if they have the specific one you're asking for.
