I go here a lot. The place is nice, clean and plenty of foods. The cashiers, I guess it's to hard to say hello or how's your day going or something. Feels like I'm a bother to them every time I check out. At least I'm there for the groceries, not to make friends at checkout. Lol!

Food lion is extremely hit or miss on whether the shelves even have something on them. There are a few things they carry that nobody else does but now that they don't cut/package most of their own meat it's not really worth the price difference from their competition down the street. Word of advice, always check the dates on cooler items. I've found some of their packaged meats as well as their fresh meats have been days if not weeks out of date as well as mislabeled with their managers specials.
