I attended this place as a U.K. tourist with an experienced US friend, several times between the 15-18th Sept 2022. Even our police in England, U.K. do not carry guns, one will never see a gun being carried publicly at home, it is illegal to do so, only very few have them for special reasons, so having never shot one or even seen one, I was very wary of trying and I took a lot of convincing that it was something I should and was competent to do. I explained the situation to a very decent, patient and informative instructor there who spent over 45 minutes with me showing me the ropes; not even sure I was charged for this extra tutoring, but this gave me the necessary safety assurances and confidence through their instruction that I could operate the gun safely. I returned a couple a days later to have another go, enjoyed the experience. Will be coming back first week in December, if I can buck up the courage; I will try a bigger gun than the smallest possible I tried before. I will certainly be asking for instruction on that! Some friends from the U.K. are both curious and amazed I did this as Europeans generally find it hard to understand the US relationship with fire arms, but I am so pleased I had a go at this. Thanks

This is a fantastic range for all kinds of shooting disciplines. The long range especially stands out as it is one of the few places around Austin that stretches out to 600 yards. It is an excellent set up for practicing fundamentals and wind reading. The squirrel target at 600 is a very fun little challenge.

We went here for a first experience , while visiting USA. We didn’t have too much experience in shot gun so we were not sure to be accepted. Well that was not the case , the staff is just amazing - kind and helpful they took time to explain and teach us. They share the passion and it makes all the difference. If you want to enjoy a real shot gun experience that’s the place ! Thanks !

Came here today with my Dad to check out the facilities, shoot clays, and pistols. This is one of the best sporting clay courses I’ve shot at. The views are great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything seems well-maintained. He left with an annual membership. I am looking forward to coming back.

Hey Kellie, All the information you request is on our website: https://www.copperheadclub.com/prices. Thank you for your interest and hope to see you soon..
$15 an hour per person. We will loan you a staple gun. All our 22 LR ammo are pre COVID hoarding so they still have normal pricing. I’m not at the office but the pricing should be around $10.
For the public closing is same as operational hours, for pass holders, it's sunset and 7 days a week. This includes trap, super sporting clays, and sporting clays. Come on out and check us out.
Hello I`m a tourist from the Netherlands looking to visit texas in October with my brother. Some colleagues of mine recommended your place from a couple of years ago. Are you still doing rentals and what kind of fees can I expect for ammo? On your website I cant seem to find any ammo rates. Thanks, Rik
