The man that came to our house was a liar and very unprofessional. He told my wife and I that everything would be taken care of. He said your insurance will cover the cost and promised to not only clean the area of my brothers death but they would replace the carpet because it was saturated with blood. They ripped up some carpet sprayed some kills on the floor, did a poor job of cleaning the wall that was also covered in blood. They then left stating they were coming back as soon as they heard from our insurance company. He reiterated that everything would be taken care of. They were in our home less than 3 hours. The bill was over three thousand dollars and after our insurance paid we immediately started getting hounded for the remaining balance. Even being told that they were going to lien our house. No compassion that my brother had just passed. Watch out they lie and are ruthless and uncaring. Stay away

Horrible service! My brother passed away and I needed help cleaning his room. I was grieving and needed help and my first impression was when I called for help the representative said “well if I can’t come today just forget it” (My husband and I were grieving and not ready that day) and they hung up on me. I called back and told them just come ahead that day. The representative that showed up said call your insurance company and start a claim so I did, then the lies started. The estimate included cleaning and replacement of carpet I agreed and signed the work order. The only thing they did was rip up 1/2 the old carpet and partially wipe the wall. They left the room with 1/2 the carpet and pad . My black light shows they didn’t even wipe the wall well. They charged over $3,300. Insurance paid part of this. I had many expenses due to no life insurance and I was making payments and paying on time and then they started with threatening letters and phone calls and threatened to send me to collections. They refused to work with me on the remaining balance. It’s only been 4 months. We are still grieving. Their actions were rude and unnecessary. I have good credit and a good job. In conclusion besides being rude and threatening they never came back and finished the job. I still have a huge mess in the room with a plywood floor. I WILL NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! I don’t recommend!!!

Paid for someone to come into to house and say ok, done!! Walls and floors smeared with scene and not even mopped up!

I can't say thank you enough to ServPro of Shelbyville. Yesterday at 4:30 I called in a panic because of messy flooding at my business. They arrived within 30 minutes to mitigate damages and returned today for a full water extraction and cleanup. The quality of their work was amazing and their entire staff were very helpful, friendly, and professional. Will definitely use again
