Good service. But the Service Techs on the phone come across as precocious 10th graders, who are experts at tractor driving - in effect all knowing red necks. But they are well meaning. Someday they will acquire a hint of polish.

So I had to hire someone to check out why the past 2months I had a really high electricity bill because I wasn't present as much neither was other person at my home. Turns out emc security "owed" me 2 free months for issues I've been having with my security system. Jackson emc and emc security are the same company.. so the reason why my Jackson emc bill was so high is because emc security was not actually giving me the 2months free that was owed to me. They were discreetly adding it to my electricity bill intentionally. These people are crooks!

EMC Security does include installation in it's price . They also offer a self install solution if requested..

It depends on the system type. If you locate your panel (not the keypad) open it. You should see a 12v battery for these type of systems. You can find these batteries at any battery store and you may find them at Home Depot. Bring the battery with you to get the exact type. If you do not have a panel, it may be in the keypad. The best thing to do is find out what kind of system you have and look up the manual on the internet. Then go to utube and you should be able to find a video on how to properly replace the battery. Hope this helps.
