Quiet Regional Park. A good lake for kayak, canoe, paddle board, or any other non motorized water sports activities. The drawback is the lake is very weedy and full of silt. You will find the water is of a green color most of the time. FISHING: You can fish and while the water is full of sediment, there is a beach. CAMPIMG: Overnight camping is allowed. There are spots for Tents or a camper for reservation. WATER SPORTS: Rentals are available for: Kayaks, Canoues, Paddle Boards, and Paddle boats. WEDDINGS: There are shelters where a wedding can be held. GOLF: There is a public golf course attach to the park. TRAILS: There is a paved trail system that encircle the lake. It is almost 3 miles around. Walking or bicycle riding is allowed on the trails.

Visited this labor day. This is good campground for first time campers. Near to civilization so you can run to a store if you forgot something or near by restaurant. Car parking and campsite is very close so we carried too many items from home. Bathrooms are clean. This park has lot of activities swim beach, hiking , biking etc. Very safe but little noisy at night we could hear car passing by and there is no policy for quite time after 10 pm. We had a good family time.

I stayed at the Red Pine camp and found the atmosphere to perfect for a secluded getaway from the city! The communal firepit was also great

Questions & Answers

Couple questions: 1. Is there electricity at all? 2. Is there somewhere to wash dishes or should I bring my own wash tub? 3. Can you buy firewood here? Price? 4. Are there grills anywhere or should I bring my own?

1 = yes 2 = I'm not sure, I would probably bring my own tub to be safe 3 = yes you can buy firewood here. price, Idk? 4 = there's grills all over.

Pricing per night? And is it for tent only or campers as well? If so, full hookup?

Pricing is per night. Week days are nightly for the tent sites. Weekends they ask for 2 nights. Maybe if you call you could get 1 night but if doing it online it will require 2 nights.
