I’m a lifelong nerd but have never gotten super into comic books until now. Believe it or not, I actually came into the store looking for Simpsons stuff (comic books, merch, etc) but none of it was to be found here, which is fair enough because the comics have been out of print for years. However, the owner was super helpful in asking if there was anything else I was looking for. I explained that I wasn’t a huge comic book fan but was more or less looking to dip my toes in the water (so to speak). I told him I was interested in the Sandman comics and he not only found me an issue of Nightmare Country, but suggested three other titles (Cradle of Filth’s comic, Pentagram of Horror, and Bunny Mask, the latter of which I’m totally in love with.) I picked up a Harley Quinn issue as well. Being a neophyte to all this, I can’t speak as to if this comic book shop is par for the course or outstanding, but personally I really enjoyed my time here. The owner was super nice, I loved the doggie who apparently is named Loki which sort of rocks, and there seemed to be a decent selection. Lots of figures too, and not only just Funko pops. I’ll have to come back really soon because apparently the artist of Bunny Mask is making an appearance in the shop. That’s really neat. Wonder if you all would mind if I came in cosplay, hahaha. :) Anyway, I’ll be back regardless because I was always afraid I’d be treated like a fool due to not being a huge comic nerd. This is a lovely first interaction with the “scene”, as it were. Believe me, I’ve been going to cons for 18 years and have had my fair share of experiences with “gatekeepers”. These people are NOT that, they’re truly passionate about comic books and I just highly recommend Krypto Comics.

Rocky at Krypto Comics will go out of his way to make sure that his subscribers get their books, especially the ratio and variant covers. He also has a huge selection of back issues and key issues. He also has loads of dollar books. There's something for every comicbook fan in your life.
