I have only ever heard good things about Pumpkin BYOB. Where I am having trouble supporting this business is with a reservation issue and how it was handled. I had made a reservation to go here on a double date with my partner and two other friends. The morning of the reservation we had found out that my partners brother had passed away the night before. This was devastating news and obviously we weren't able to attend the reservation later that night because of the situation. I tried to cancel that morning but they weren't open (understandable), but had called later that afternoon and explained the horrible situation. They got back to me the next day and charged me $100 ($25 per person that was reserved for) with no exceptions. I understand having a policy in place is important to ensure the regular flow of business but I think there should be an exception (or at lease a lower fee) for situations like this.
