Loved this 8 mile area. Great shops and shop owners! Don't waste your time in downtown Gatlinburg, go here instead. You will not regret it!

Well worth the stop. While you are there check out the history of the place. When the import junk started flooding Gatlinburg this place moved...boy, did they move. I'm old enough to remember them in both locations and today I will not go into Gatlinburg to shop for gifts/crafts. Food; yes. But gifts from the mountains made in China; no way...

May be hit or miss, some are closed over the winter but most should be open.
Almost all. I went shopping the day after Thanksgiving and only ran into one out of maybe 30 shops closed.
Glades rd. deserves at least 1/2 day. All sorts of arts and craft shops. As noted, judt out of town on 321 on the left going out. Nice ride in itself.
Also call the Arts and Craft Center on the Parkway in Asheville. They can connect you with all sorts of crafts people.
Sure is allowed, have a good time.
Contact the Sevier County Chamber of Commerce.
