Ticket machine doesn't work on weekends , also customer service. I can't buy tickets on weekends for debit card. Bus driver don't gave me ride for 45 cent. Payment of coins and paper money past century. Put Visa/Mastercard terminals on the bus. 5 miles walk to work place. 😡 Angry driver.

Update 10/16/22 waited way over an hour on 22 to Dtown..was hoping to catch the movie at Tn Theater.not happening thx KAT for ruining my plans.10/02/22 11:50 am #22 bys 3501.Why does the automated bus stop announcnents not work on most buses. Why must we be forced to hear the Bus Radio at volume that are disturbing. Nobody cares what's happening at a bus stop or side of the road across town. That's information that's none of our business. Thank you/18/22: The facility has become littered and unkempt. The bus drivers has radios up so loud the automated system cannot be heard. The drivers are mean and then play victim and report people after they are tge aggressors. Today the driver was actually mad because people were riding this bus and was driving erratically..very unsafesystem here in Knoxville. We to ruin a good thing KAT. People will respond to how they are treated. Now with a tough economy bas bad schedule's hsve been cut back been cut back with more rider participation. That's odd. I'm removing stars because I travel around cities that have large crowds and drivers do much better jobs..basically they mind their own business. ..Always clean here especially for a transit station. Nice to see you guys taking pride in your nice new still facility. Keep up the great work.

I ride the 17 bus and the driver on that route makes my ride enjoyable. If it wasn't for the transit buses I would not be able to get around.

Kat station opens at 6 but buses vary as to start times
The last buses leave out of the station at 11:15 p.m. Customer service is open until 6:30, M-F, open till 4:30 on Saturday.
Download the app or google your directions and click the bus option under where u pit the address it will map u via bus route from start to finish
The closest you can get is the route 11 it takes you to Kingston Pike and Gallaher
Jean Hess you can report that information to the main office on Magnolia. They can pull up any bus on the computer and know how fast they are going. If it's a habit with that particular driver it will be on record.

This is the transit center, most of the routes go through here at least once. Some routes run every 15 min, some routes run every 30 min and some only once an hour

Kat buses run on Labor Day but on Saturday schedule. They are closed on New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
