If i could rate this place one star, i would. unsanitary, not cooperative and rude staff. the wait (two hours) was somewhat understandable, as we were waiting for urgent care, however once we were set in a room, it took no less than 15-20 minutes for each check in from the staff. even after one doctor said he would have medicine brought to us to help with nausea/vomiting, it took roughly 20 minutes. for medicine ? ridiculous. later, the doctor came in with a styrofoam cup and left it on the table, left a glove on the biohazard container instead of in, and left the urine sample baggie on a trash can. Just overall unprofessional.

I love it here. I actually travel, no matter where I live,, just to go here. They take the time to actually listen to your emergency, and they actually run the tests, and will run more to find the cause and they treat exactly what it is. And there is almost never a long wait. I'm so traumatized by the hospital's in Philadelphia because of the way they treat us, and discard us to just get a new beds available. But not this hospital. Thank you to all that works there. They have good bedside manners. ❤

There is absolutely no privacy at Einstein (Elkins Park). I normally go to a different ER but my primary asked me to go to this location so she easily access records. When you walk in, you have to announce why you are there in front of the entire lobby and also verbally give identifying personal information (name, DOB) with ppl sitting 2-3 feet away from the front desk. While I was waiting for a room, triage came into the lobby where others were present and announced loudly, that I needed to give a urine sample. She then said “you can fill it up halfway, no need to be an overachiever”… I have never felt so violated and embarrassed by a medical professional. I am writing this from the lobby as I wait and I will be filing a formal complaint as I believe my privacy has been violated.

Hello Beverly, usually your PCP primary care physician would be the one to recommend a doctor who is highly recommend and accepts your insurance. Don't rely on friends , family ,or the internet for recommendations. Each person's experience is different with a doctor. So just because your uncle Howie said he's a great doctor doesn't mean that person's right for you trust the medical professionals.
I actually have an appointment with them on the 16th and even to schedule the appointment they were open and I was able to talk to a live representative so I'm not quite sure what's going on but they're always available when I call.
