I had the privilege of getting instructed by these people after my stroke. all were very professional and live up to the standards of Moss Rehab. my only issue is that they're only intefested in making money for their company and didn't make an effort to get me to the state testing site before the deadline

Nice facility. Professional Staff. Had a difficult time scheduling my 2nd appointment and getting final approval. However, Covid played a part in the delay and the Staff was courteous throughout. 👍

I dont know what all this negative stuff is. Been working with them for over a year to get my license restored, they hard to get a hold of sometimes. But they always call back. They've been great in person and virtually. All the way through the pandemic.

Questions & Answers

Can moss rehab help a person drive again with a left hemionopsia

There are no guarantees as it is dependent on how one performs. They will be able to evaluate you to determine a baseline and then could offer training in attempt to reach a safe/competent level.

What does the course cost?

There is no set course. An evaluation costs $320. Further visits and costs can be discussed at the time of your evaluation.

If someone does not pass the driving test, is his/her license going to be revoked?

A report of the evaluation will be sent to the referring physician and it will state whether the client passed or failed the evaluation. If the client has failed (this would mean there are safety concerns with their driving) it will be recommended that the physician report the client to the state DMV. If the referring physician is in agreement with the recommendation made by MossRehab they would report to the DMV to have the license recalled.

Can you take the drivers test more than once

The appropriateness of re-evaluation is determined on a case by case basis.
