Exactly what I expect from Ross. Messy, long lines, stale food (not expired but had melted and sold out anyway... And it wasn't even a real discount) cashier's we're friendly. Typical Ross.

If I was able to give zero stars, I would. I spend a lot of money at this Ross location, but over the last several months they have been going downhill. Most recently, last September my daughter wanted a dress for a dance. We were unable to find one anywhere, we come to Ross last minute and spent way too much on everything but don't find the dress that fits. We returned a day or 2 later... spending more, but now giving up on trying on anymore dresses. Last minute, I find a dress that's the size she wears, we buy it-- didn't fit her. We try to return it less than 2 weeks later but the lines were outrageous, extending into storage isles with complaining shoppers. The apologies were explaining how they are short staffed and doing their best. We decided to try back in a couple more weeks at the staffs recommendation. This time we need to return it even if it is a long wait. We do wait... apparently this time not only are they still short-staffed, but the ringing systems keep going down. So they get the registers to restart and the scan the receipt, and tag... but then nothing happens. This process repeated atleast 5 times while the checkers were on hold with tech support for over 30 minutes. They apologized, explaining this was happening often lately and sent me off with this same dress. Today I have been writing this review inside Ross, again trying to return this dress! By now we have lost the receipt when opening the back of my SUV to put groceries inside on a windy day. But we are here. I send my daughter to wait while I grab more things to buy, it was fast this time. However, she came back with a concerned face because the girl told her she can only refund the discounted amount because we dont have our receipt! I try to explain... not that she has any say in the matter, but so she understands why I would on principle be asking for the manager. It is only about $10 of a difference, but I have also spent more than that on gas 2 prior trips...( not to mention another hundred today on more merchandise). The manager looked possibly old enough to do the job, but was confrontational as he approached. He had already made up his mind about me and was ready to argue before I even spoke. I explained atleast hoping for an apology or some understanding of my frustration, if not a few dollars more on my teeny store credit. Instead He was arrogant and condescending even without speaking, just in his mannerisms. The most courteous statement that he made was That there was nothing he could do. The rest was almost challenging me to take back the dress if I didn't like it. So I did. I will be driving the 2.5 hrs to Vegas this weekend and will attempt to do my business from now on with a store that is more courteous to its patrons. We did still spend a $100 today, It almost makes me hope he does not get bonuses off of what I just spent! Save yourself frustration and your self-respect and and drive the 2 hours to a Ross that's staffed and respectful respectful, Or better yet Go to Target next door!
