Very good customer service here in Ball! The staff really goes out of there way to carry to my prescription needs. Last week I ran out of my IBS medicine so I came to get it refilled. As I was waiting in line I felt it coming… I quickly clenched to hold it in but it was too late. It was flowing out of me like lava from a volcano and I couldn’t stop it. The amazing pharmacist Mr. Rocky saw I was in need and quickly ran to my aid. I was unable to walk and Mr. Rocky picked me up and carried me to the staff bathroom. I was in there for a good 45 min, really tore it up from the force of the explosion, Mr. Rocky even gave me an extra toilet paper roll! The staff were so kind and considerate, even checking in on me as exploded their only working toilet. They didn’t mind the smell either! After I was done they had my meds ready to go! You won’t get this kind of customer service at the big box pharmacies, only at Rays do they go above and beyond to make their customer feel real special!

I went twice and both times they told me 20 minutes for three hours. I will never go back. The staff is rude and unwilling to even call for a med transfer. Lazy and incompetent only begin to describe this business.

Generally great. My mom has been a customer here for at least 18 years. Never had any problems until the last couple years. New faces and they don't seem to understand empathy. Example: we got a text that the meds were ready, only to get there from 40 minutes away (yeah, my mom is that loyal to Ray's) and only 1 script was ready. We should have called to see what all was ready, I admit. The problem is that the girl offers no empathy, no apology, simply states how the text messaging works. No acknowledgement of frustration. Having previously worked in customer service for several years, even a simple "I'm sorry for the miscommunication" is acceptable. Rather than this though, she coldly stayed policy like a regurgitated script while trying to hide her annoyance when I stated my annoyance. It's not major, but I expect that hometown feel that's always been there. Since of the new people are simply lacking in rapport, friendliness, and empathy.

Ray's Pharmacy in Ball, LA have nebulizers for sale. The lowest priced one was about $29.00, plus mouth pieces and masks for administering the medicine. They would likely bill medicaid if you have a prescription for it. They're open 9am-2:00pm on Saturdays.
