The cashier wasn’t attentive at all. We stood 2 minutes before she came to us and then was very short and rude with my baby sister and I. I understand these are tough times, but kindness is one thing we can hold onto.

I discovered this place during #PhiladelphiaVacation2021 but had been unable to return while my life partner and I were on our vacation, last year. A few weeks ago, while he was attending a Sci-Fi convention, I made sure to visit this bakery. I treated my life partner to a regular-sized red velvet whoopie pie, and I practically inhaled the mini-sized peanut butter and jelly whoopie pie. I was awestruck seeing the "Elvis Cake, made with peanut butter, bananas and chocolate chips. I ABSOLUTELY look forward to visiting the Flying Monkey Bakery, when I return to Philly.

Some vegan options.. I asked for a cookie which is apparently a cupcake. The taste should satisfy if the food is fresh. Update: Tried the raspberry cupcake, taste like strawberry. Was it good either way? Yes.

Delicious desserts! The pumpkin whoopie pie was just so tasty and the cake was moist. The lemon blackberry whoopie pie was surprisingly sweet and tart you could tell it used fresh fruit. Also got a really good creme brulee cupcake and a wonderfully chewy molasses cookie. Would definitely get treats here again!
