The food was amazing…charred Brussels sprouts as an app and scallops with saffron polenta and spinach as an entree! But…while I guess the seating was meant to be eclectic, it was like 1970’s yard sale. A very low table that your legs didn’t fit under surrounded by old kitchen chairs and a worn out couch that I wouldn’t even donate to college kids. Half of our party was sitting too high for the table and the other half too low. We had to sit side ways to try and eat our dinner. It could’ve been a whole different experience if the owners had actually taken the time to sit at the tables they were presenting to their guests. Had we been seated at the one or two “regular tables” in the “library” section (although we had reserved the tavern section) Im sure it would’ve been more enjoyable. Skipped dessert because we just couldn’t sit at this awkward table any longer.

If you like dark woody bars in historic buildings and creative cocktails to match, this is a must stop. We didn't eat here, but their Old Fashioned with orange bitters is fantastic. The Margarita was also super popular with our group. Cannot wait to eat there too! August 9th 2022 update: We ate here! Absolutely fantastic! I had the scallops and my wife had the short ribs, both were wonderful! Service was very attentive and the atmosphere cannot be beat. We'll definitely be back.

Been there a few times as a local and usually good BUT I have mostly only sat at the bar with a friend or date where the bartender is in your face to at least attend to you. This past weekend our server spent more time chatting with a friend than waiting any tables. Shame so many people recommending as I looked around, almost all the tables were frustrated by lack of service and watched several people fed up at the hostess stand. Besides the very slow service (and the waitress said, "we are a small place") which has nothing to do with why you brought out our appetizer of toast and cheese and said you'd get plates and totally forgot. I know every waiter has good and bad days but the kitchen must have too since they brought my mom's crab cake sandwich out brown and bone dry where you could peel off a layer of just hard crusty crab totally burnt. Plus the fries were the cheapest things I've seen... seriously. I cannot in good faith recommend this place with so many other good options right here.
