Very helpful - when my friend found she couldn't handle an e-bike, and we switched to hybrid bikes, New Hope changed my pre-paid reservation to regular non-electric rental without being asked - couldn't have been nicer - might suggest they add a personal panier to contain cell phone, a jacket, etc...

There are good bike shops and there are great bike shops. New Hope is definitely in the Great category. I was riding along the towpath when my crank arm began to loosen. Fortunately, I was just a mile from the New Hope bike shop and stopped in for repair. I wanted to buy an Allen key set to make the repair but they were out. The gentleman was nice enough to find me a single Allen key to fit my crank arm and gifted it to me! I also need my tires inflated and the mechanic gladly offered his assistance. In the process of inflating my rear tire he noticed a bulge in the sidewall. So, instead of inflating a tire to full pressure he backed it off about 20 psi. I would have purchased a new tire but the ones they stocked might not have worked on my bike. Bottom line, I was impressed with the professionalism, technical expertise and customer service of the gentleman that run this shop. Highly impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and support of the gentleman that run this shop. Highly recommend!

Even though we arrived before opening time, they served us. The bike was in excellent shape and worked very well for the 4 hours we had it rented. I experimented with the gears and the pedal assist. I found it to be very fun😄. It was the first time my husband had to catch up to me instead of the other way around. We thought the rental price was excellent. And the walking/biking path was close enough to ride the bike to. I would recommend this rental company and location.
