First time ever to a dog park. I just took in my daughter's dog from Louisiana. We had one half to ourselves. There was about 10 dogs playing together on the other side.it was nice for my dog to be able to get out and run

A lot of space for your furry friend to run in an enclosed area. There is two sides one for dogs under 20 lbs. And another for larger dogs. Each side has one bench only for the owners to sit on. There were two plastic chairs on the large dog side and one plastic chair on the small dog side. When I was there the park was pretty empty. I went on a Saturday around 1pm. There was one person there with a sickly looking dog with what appeared to be mange. When I asked him about the condition of the dog he admitted that he does not take his dog to a vet. It would be nice if he would have followed the rules and not bring sick or unvaccinated pets to the park. The look of the park is nice and clean. I did walk around both the small and large sides and did not see much dog potty. That's a great thing. Really clean park. There are water fountains in both the small and large sides. The area does seem like it is not the best area geographically. But seems safe during the day. There is currently a road closure but the entrance to the park is still accessable. GPS takes you a route that does not lead to the park so make sure to pull up the map and do not turn into the subdivision. Turn onto Lexington instead. The dog park is at the back of the main park away from the walking trails and kids park so it's nice a quite. We will most likely be back.
