Met with a friend who winters about as far North as we are south. Spouses joined us for lunch and went shopping nearby while we played 18 holes. $50 each includes cart and less than the shopping trip. Buetiful course and the deep creek only crossed the course in one location for seniors. Probably try for a couple meet ups next year.

Big fan of Deep Creek Golf Club! It's a well-kept course that offers a nice mix of holes so all levels of golfers can play and enjoy. The staff and service are exceptional, as well.

Beautiful course, very nice staff. Being from northern michigan we enjoyed the weather in January and the scenery was great and even saw a few gators! Tighter fairways than we were used to and challenging with water on 1 side usually and quite a few sand traps as well.

I played Deep Creek with my Brother in law Thanksgiving week and had a great day. The weather was perfect and the play was forward with no slow paced play ahead and no pushing from behind. Both my BIL and myself are amateur players, but didn't feel over faced by the course, but lost quite a few balls with some of the more challenging water holes. We both used the rented clubs and they worked just fine. Staff are accommodating and smiley. I was visiting from California and look forward to playing again when next in Punta Gorda.
