The trains come often but the place is a bit sketchy. Be careful being around in this area at night...a lot of people milling around up to no good. I've heard that police are strict on ticketing if waiting in the wrong lane in car to pick someone up so be aware of that as well.

The train station is busy all time, not so professional though, with a number of street "bummer" hanging out, which makes the place a little shady.

The trains to and from Philadelphia or Atlantic City are pretty nice and the station itself is actually an okay place to wait for public transportation. And in my experience the patco employees have been polite and courteous, the trains have been consistently on time and clean. The station is also in decent shape and maintained pretty well. The parking lot is pretty good, there's usually a space somewhere even during peak commuting hours. The only real negative is the traffic in the surrounding area gets extremely congested, the roads really struggle to handle the sheer volume. But that doesn't really have anything to do with the train station. The stations between here and Philly or Atlantic City are also pretty decent places to wait for and use public transportation. Glad I don't have to drive into Philly ;)
