It was an incredible day! Wildlife everywhere, patrolled, playground, tennis courts, picnic tables, bathrooms, pavilions, walking trails, ponds, access to water to drink, basketball court, open amphitheater, baseball field, grills, museums. Grab you some KFC and go have a picnic in peace! You should DEFINITELY try this park if in Ocala!!!

It was our first time visiting this park and I have to say it is one of the best ones in Ocala hands down! Amazing scenery, lovely walking path, pond, amazing play area for the children, beautiful wildlife! We will definitely be back!

I believe there's no rule against metal detecting, but I can't comment on the magnet fishing. I do think their fishing rules are strict though.
Ask local library or and the city archives in the planing zoning department there should be also some with the historical society. That's where I would be looking first
Not to sure, but I believe there on the same hours as the basketball court, which lights go off at 9 or rather 8:45 actually.
Oh I had no idea. I thought it was always open as long as the park is.
I believe its first come first served unless you got alot of people like 10> you should be fine
The website www.OcalaFL.org says it is a 1 mile concrete walking trail. Enjoy!
Yes
Yes, no wading or cast nets though
absolutely unless you're under 16, you need a fishing license to fish any fresh water in Florida
Poor choice for fishing, predominantly turtles, ducks, cranes & crows. Lakes in the forest much better for fishing.
No it's being held at the McPherson complex
If you're with someone else you're fine but if you set yourself up by yourself as a Target there's no telling there's good and bad everywhere in this world I wish I was more good but that's not the case
Just about a mile if you go around the retention pond also.
I think if you want to use there pavilion it cost.... Starting at like 50$ and up depending on the size of your party.
Do you need to pay to get into this park?
