A nice quiet peaceful part. Apart completely dedicated to the veterans who have served. They have a map online that makes it easy to find who you're looking for. Monday to Friday they have someone in the office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. down the hill there's a museum you can go visit. Personally I think it's a great place.

The grounds are so well kept...so peaceful ...all different areas for different wars...each has an amazing sense of peace...the state flag area is very nice...when the wind picks up its an amazing feeling...I found a spot where I guess a mother or father of a young soldier who had died had placed an American flag and photo of him..which brought me to tears..he should be on one of the bricks with his name on it...it's an amazing feeling just knowing all of these people sacrificed their lives for us...I now visit and walk around once a week and show my respect and enjoy the peaceful feeling I get while I'm there..I'm so thankful for all of these heroes who fought for the freedom we have today.

First off let me say how impressed I was, I hadn't had the chance to go since it's induction, because I moved away and then joined the service myself, but to see it today on such a beautiful day it was magnificent, well put together tribute I thought I would be underwhelmed, it was definitely the opposite kudos to everyone associated with the project, if you're a local veteran and haven't been take a trip up there. I'll provide just a small few of the photos I took while there.

We went today 9/11 for a homeschool field trip. The 911 wall was absolutely sobering. My 8 year old grand daughter could only say how sad it was and we as adults dont always remember...someone traded their life for our freedom.

I would think so since Monday since its Memorial Day, and I'm guessing it will be there longer than Monday. I'm going to the Veterans Park this afternoon. Ask a question here in about 3 hours and when it pops up I should have an answer for you! I'll post pictures too!!
Yes, the traveling wall is at the veterans! Let's All Pray It doesn't rain on our veterans!!!
No there are no displays in Ocala.
I think they also put up the memorial wall!
Im just a veteran that served in peace time in Canada. And i go to pay my respects.to all my brothers who are MIA POW and who served so. We can be semi free. .to all of them i am forever greatful. Thank you
I would inquire inside the library. There seems to be a more informed answer already posted. That sounds like a VERY kind gesture on your part. Bless you. 😊
I would suggest going there during business days and business * 9 to 5. They have an office there and you might be able to get more specific information.
I don't think so. The wall has other engagements that it has to attend, certain dates for certain locations and IDT rain is going to change their itinerary. 5:30 Memorial Day afternoon/evening is when they're leaving, I think? You might want to check, but I'm pretty sure....
Cobra lands nlt 9;00 so I figure it start around 10;00 - just guessing.
Really as much as you want. Probably a half mile altogether.
Ask a volunteer at the office there when it is open.
