The long in the tooth, vertically challenged female (by all outward appearances), with the cheap box dyed(your roots are showing) black hair was kind enough to loudly (So as to ensure I was able to hear properly)announce that the post office's government website was wrong when it stated that I was entitled to a no fee po box due to the fact that I get no mail service at my current physical address. Then promptly dismissed me like an unwanted servant. When I proceeded to request an audience with the postmaster. She tossed me a scathing look and explained to me oh so very slowly (because my thick Texas Twang alerted her to my undoubtedly sevear mental incapacity due to many generations of obviouse inbreeding)how I didn't need to talk to the postmaster because she was the undisputed authority on the subject of everything postal.

The clerks at this post office are unhelpful and rude to their customers. I was just looking for help to find a flat rate box. They said they only had one size medium box when there are two sizes and that no post office has two. Also they forgot that companies like Etsy offer discounts and said I didn't pay enough. I had to remind them. I was looking for someone to be helpful and knowledgeable, and didn't find either.

Be careful in here during covid 19 folks. Poor ventilation and their supervisor is confrontational asking people to take off their masks INSIDE to verify identity. The new postmaster (who isn't pictures in their office as far as I know) needs to bring in some of Cal Polys folks to clean up their practices!

i like going to the downtown post office. i think they are always patient and helpful. it’s probably NOT an easy job because there can be a line and customers can be impatient. i have favorites i love Ruby and Lesley and lillian. it’s clean and they have the packing and mailing things i need.
