I have been trying to reach a receptionist to confirm an appt for over a half hour. The first 2 times I called someone pickup then hung up. After that it just rings and rings. I still haven't been able to get a hold of anyone.

I wish the receptionists were more polite. I had a question and was put on hold, I thought the receptionist was going to ask someone else as she didn’t know the answer. I waited for 5, then 10 then 20 mins than I gave up and hanged up and called them again. Another receptionist answered my question just in less than 20 sec but was interrupting me when I was answering her questions or when I was providing some information. My English is not as fluent as native speakers English and I can’t speak as fast as the native speakers but I don’t believe this should be a reason for interrupting me. It feels very uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

I WILL BE CONTACTING THE STATE AND ADDRESSING THIS THIS WITH HOLY REDEEMER HOSPITAL BOARD. I don’t understand why they will have customer service receptionist that speak poorly to patients. My first OB appointment was with Dr. Fish after the office rescheduled my appointment with Dr. Graver two days before my original appointment date. When I walked into the office, the ladies at the front desk were nice but after sitting and meeting with Dr. Fish that quickly changed. I thought going into your first OB appointment that the doctor will not only give blood work to confirm the pregnancy but also help you with what to expect, what to eat or not eat and address my concerns like headaches and nausea and having a lack of an appetite but all I received was “We can talk about this at your next appointment” I just let it be and scheduled the next appointment for the next month. About a week or two later, my work scheduled has changed and my headaches were getting worse so I call to reschedule and also to let them know about my headaches but whom ever picked up the phone was in a serious bad mood. She kept telling me how there was nothing she could do for me because she’s not a doctor, which obviously I know that but the whole reason why I called was to let the doctor know and for the doctor to address the concerns, not to just randomly vent to the receptionist. Anyhow, once it got to the point of rescheduling the second OB appointment with a different doctor (I requested Dr. Graber in hopes of receiving better care) she gave me this whole excuse on how she would need to check with Dr. Fish first because Dr. Graber didn’t have an opening until September and I told her that was fine. September works for me but she kept going on and on how it needed approval and I asked why and she said “because it just does” I told her to cancel all my future appointments with this office and quickly called Willow Grove to get an August appointment. Bad customer service really messes up the whole practice. Especially addressing a pregnant persons concerns with neglect. Please do you research on doctors and if anything feels off or you feel like your questions and concerns are not being answered or addressed, please speak up or change doctors. We are taking care of a little human inside our bodies and cannot afford to be played around with. I definitely recommend the Willow Grove location. Customer service was excellent on first call and every appointment after. They do not judge you when you have silly concerns and they answer all you questions. They even tell you what you should expect at your appointments. As a first time mom, this was very helpful.
