Very nice. My only complaint is probably mother nature related, lol. It is a lonnnngggg walk to the water across sand. And you have to cross what looks similar to a pond or walk all the way around it which made it an even longer walk. There was a plenty of grills and picnic tables to have a picnic and a small playground for younger children to play while you are cooking. There is feet washing place available to wash the sand off of your feet.

Very busy beach park. Bathrooms stay dirty due to use. Beach is good for kids because of a long tidal pool but not so great for adults. It's a long walk around the tidal pool to get to the surf side. Better to go to Jekyll Island if you want a good beach.

Definitely a fun place to take your kids or even go by yourself. The beach is literally a two minute walk from the playground. They have amply parking, outdoor showers to clean off the sand and bathrooms. The only con is the bathrooms were super dirty, and whilst I understand they can't have someone out there 24/7, I think it should've been a bit cleaner. Otherwise we loved it.

Great park for so many reasons. Playground - check. Space for sidewalk chalk - check. Benches and tree cover for picnics - check. Bathrooms & water fountain - check. Great beach access - check.

Yes just has to be kind natured. They will make you leave with it if it gets aggressive.
I personally was told to leave once around 11pm even as adult, and was told there was a curfew. The police were nice about it, no ticket or anything.
With the exception of overnight camping, it s super nice park with easy beach access, restrooms, outside showers and I met some nice people.
There is not, but like they said, you could use the playground, I only know one park around here with workout equipment and its the one in brunswick off 17
Yes and no leash rules but in the summer between labor day and memorial day they cant go until around 6-6:30pm and have to be off by some time in the morning. The exact times are on the signs when you walk onto the beach... There's also a hose to wash off your pup after! It's by the outdoor showers.
