I was given care quickly and compassionately by the entire team. Dr. Miles explained things well to me. My pain is greatly reduced in one day and I have an appointment with a specialist next week.

My wife recently visited the urgent care office because she had an abscess that needed to be lanced and drained. I believe this is actually a simple routine procedure. If I had the Novocaine I could have done it at home. The doctor didn't know what he was doing. First he was going to do it while she was sitting up. She stopped him and suggested that it would be easier if she lye down on her back. The infection was above her left ear. The doctor agreed accept he wanted her to place her head at the foot of the bed because the tray of supplies was at that end of the bed. He was trying to make it easier on himself. In my opinion medical workers generally try to make things easier for the patient not themselves. After a few injections to numb the area he squoze some of the infection out he told her the rest of the swelling was infected tissue. He prescribed an antibiotic and gave verbal after care instructions but didn't print them out. She was in and out in 38 minutes. 3 days later we went to Jordan Valley west's ER. The doctor there numbed the area the cut it open allowing every thing to drain. The infection had gotten much worse after she attended the urgent care office. 4 days later we had to go to Jordan Valley West to have it drained properly. Considering she had been on Sulfamethoxazole for three days there should have been improvement. When I fact it had gotten much worse. Do not go to their urgent care offices they will actually make your condition worse if you need urgent Care go to Jordan Valley West just a few blocks farther down the street to the West.

I love my primary care doctor but the urgent care “doctors” are always very rude. Today I waited for an entire hour and he wouldn’t even let me speak and was very full of himself you can tell. John Hooley should rethink the profession he’s in.

East side of the building. There's about 3 neon greenish cones nearest to the building. You'll call the number once you park in front of the cone and tell them which number you're in and they'll send someone out to your car. *east* will be on the side of the building closest to the freeway
