This place is absolutely beautiful! Perfect place to have a wedding! You could do the ceremony and reception there! The outside where the ceremony would be held is beautiful as well. Very nice place!

My daughter attended a prom at the Merion on 5/21/2022 and was struck in the head by a 3" crystal that fell from a chandelier. The following Monday (5/23/2022) she had a progressively worsening headache so I took her to the ER for a CT scan to rule out a brain bleed and/or skull fracture. I contacted the general manager of the Merion (Mr. Cliff Miller) about the incident. He informed me that he would reimburse me in the amount of $100 for the medical bill I received as a result of her injury. When i didn't receive the reimbursement I exchanged multiple emails with Mr. Miller and I even emailed the owner Bill Diamantakos. To date, I have not received the money. Be very careful dealing with the owner and general manager of the Merion.

I believe you put in an order for the exact amount of meals for the exact amount of guests. If 10 do not show up, I believe you will be able to make good with extra food but it is bad business on your end to want to pay the difference. It is not The Merion's fault your people didn't show up. A deal is a deal. X dollars to cater for x amount of people. The Merion is a business. Their food is pre-cooked so that by the time your people attend your event, your food is warm and ready to serve. If they cook it at the moment the event starts, it's gonna cost you more because the catering operations must be financed by you. You must express to your guest that your money and effort into this event is important and that they must show up if they agree to attend so you will not risk loss money over food others could not eat.
The price varies depending on what you want . You need to call and see what the price will be for what you want.
