I too was hesitant, but it all turned out okay :) was available any time I needed and would have made concessions if necessary. Just booked 1 hour before the appointment and he was good to go. Was just $20 for a full card, way quicker than going to the police station or BCI. Needed only a license, Gave lotion before the ink so the ink came off easily when we were done. Overall, quick and easy. Was also very focused on the quality of the prints, inspected each with a magnifying glass. And he has little paper squares with a peel and stick adhesive to redo a print if needed. Would recommend.

Getting inked fingerprints from Tim Guymon is like watching an artist who's practicing a trade as old as humanity. He takes your prints in his house, in his kitchen, which adds to the context of humanity, too. I had to bring my 5-year old son with me. It could have been a boring process for him, but Tim was kind enough to put PBS Kids cartoons on the TV for him, then later, Tim got my son involved and took one of his fingerprints, too. Those are small vital signs of a kind and considerate person. It's easy to see that Tim's been doing fingerprints for a long time. He's an efficient perfectionist.
