We were really let down by this facility. We left our dog here for 3 nights over the weekend. It was his first time being boarded. The whole experience was pretty upsetting. At drop off we were told our dog would be bathed before his scheduled pick up, but when we picked him up today he was filthy and had clearly not received a bath. We went home and immediately groomed him - shampooed twice, conditioned, complete blow dry and a deep line brushing. During this extensive groom - We not only found a live tick on him (currently feeding and bloated - that we had to remove) but we also found 5 other tick bites that were sore and swollen, with blood stains in his fur around the bite. We also discovered that his paw was sore and bleeding. He was perfectly fine before we dropped him off, and within 72 hours he now has sores all over him from the tick bites and an injured paw he won’t let us touch. Needless to say, We will not be using Sydney’s Bed and Biscuit again and suggest others to avoid this facility as well. If you do choose to use this facility, I highly suggest checking your dog for injuries and ticks when you pick them up. Disappointed is an understatement.
