This playground (swings, slide, monkey bars and hanging rings and bar) is as good or better than any public playground equipment I've used. It is really well built and the folks at Component Playgrounds were very helpful in discussing installation requirements and procedures. My seven year old, my wife and I are on it just about everyday, and, by the looks and feel of the playground, we will enjoy it for many many years.

I rarely write reviews unless I'm blown away (positively or negatively) by a product/company. We are so incredibly happy with the swing set we bought from Component Playgrounds. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did a beautiful job installing it. It's mostly used by the kids but the swing set barely even moves with 130-200-lb adults on the swings. This thing is SOLID, and I can relax knowing that the swing set hardware is safe, no matter how high they swing. The kids love detaching the swings/rings/trapeze bar and reattaching them in crazy ways, and they often set up Ninja-type courses that take them through every function of the swing set. I didn't realize that a swing set could inspire them to be so creative! I just can't say enough good things about this company and their product.

Shipping will depend on the scope of the order. Most component playgrounds will process and ship in 5 to 10 business days from the purchase date. Our shipping system utilizes common carrier trucks. This is the best way to ensure safe and expedient delivery. It’s important to note how these shipments differ from standard UPS or USPS deliveries. Most of our equipment will be delivered on large pallets. Someone needs to be present upon the delivery to receive the shipment. The driver will cut down the pallet and hand down your shipment piece by piece at your designated curbside. Overall, galvanized steel sets are substantially lighter than standard wood equipment. It will be much easier to move and install the pieces once they are delivered to you. Some pieces may be heavy so use discretion when handling equipment. It may be wise to have a second person to help. If any package is small enough, we’ll ship Fed-Ex instead.
We do commercial installations ourselves, so there is no need to worry. For residential orders, we do offer DIY installation. It’s a great way to save a little money and enjoy a backyard project. Every order has complete installation instructions. Tools and supplies that won’t be included in the shipment may involve a shovel, mixing concrete, a bucket and/or a wheelbarrow. We recommend installation teams include two grown adults and a standard set of tools. None of the residential installations will require specialized hardware or construction certifications. Many of our structures are freestanding. Some of the more popular choices are teeter-totters and monkey bars.
Yes! We have plenty of site amenities for you to browse. They include benches, bike racks, tables and more. We also take custom orders upon request. We also do custom work projects as requested.
Yes! All of our manufacturing is done right here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Every single order is processed, manufactured and shipped from this location. This includes all steel work from welding to bending. Additionally, we exclusively use American-made in our products.

We have lots of playground equipment for schools! Beyond traditional swing sets, we have metal climbers, monkey bars, fitness equipment and sports equipment. We outfit basketball courts and tetherball sets.
Yes! We offer both residential and commercial swing sets and playground equipment. Our commercial equipment is always designed and manufactured to meet, if not exceed, safety standards. Every swing on any of our metal sets is rated to hold more than 500 lbs.
