I understand the historical significance but Im not even sure you can go inside. Its basically a nice place to walk your dog. There's a small baseball field and open space for kids to play.

Yes
You can walk around the outside around the property. Supposedly that's where it's haunted. In the small area of woods along side of it. Ok, so I walk my dog around there constantly wanting to see or hear something. Once, he went off barking and pulling me by the baseball field into the woods on the other side of the driveway. I figured it was kids messing around but we got into the small gap of woods and my dog started pulling one way and then would stop and start pulling the other way and then stop and started going the first way and back and forth he went. I said, make up your mind dog, which way... he sat down, whimpered and them started running the way we went into the woods wanting to get out. That was the weirdest thing that happened to me in the last 10 years of going around those woods at night.
